The Role of The Goldie Company in a Capital Campaign
A number of factors contribute to the success of a capital campaign. Much of counsel’s role centres upon two important elements: focus and priorities.
In every campaign, there are literally hundreds of activities, details and distractions with which to cope. Often, the problem is not what to do but how and when to do it. Counsel’s role is to help you set priorities so that you may focus on the activities that will maximize the fundraising potential. Ultimately, our role is to initiate and propel campaign progress in cooperation with the staff and executive volunteers to aid in the effective implementation of the Campaign Plan. This includes making objective appraisals of the campaign, advising on policy matters pertaining to the campaign, recommending action on important campaign issues, and focussing attention and activity on the task of meeting the goal.

The Goldie Company can provide three variations of capital campaign fundraising counsel:
(i) Full-time Service
(ii) Part-time Service
(iii) Periodic Consulting Service
If an organization wishes to use professional counsel on a part-time or periodic consulting service basis, it is generally necessary for the client to either have in place or to retain a qualified fundraising staff member who can be dedicated full-time to the campaign. Whether providing counsel on a full-time basis, with part-time service or on a periodic consulting service contract, The Goldie Company’s service will be executed with respect and integrity in a context of timeliness, professionalism and economy.
